sorry for the late reply, but,,, yes u can .. recently, and i mean the corps members from last year were invited the villa to commend the individual efforts of a selected few who atrived well in their primary place of assignment. the event was tagged “presidential honors award”, in which they all met with the president (GEJ) … and they were given awards in cash and kind(kind in form of automatic employment to anywhere they wanted or scholarship for anyone of them that wanted to further education).
so, my dear brother, it can happen and it’s happening. be it a one off case or a collective scenario.
Can one really get commendation or even the benefit for a selfless service year? especially,does who served under harsh weather condition.
